Unfortunately we had to use PDM twice within a couple of weeks, but fortunately for us we had Pete do the work both times. He is very polite, professional and did a great job both times. He kept the work area clean, caring for our carpet, etc. He explained everything to us before he left. Well done!

Leaking water heater. I replaced a 40-gallon water heater with a new Bradford White energy-efficient model. Tested for safe operation, cleaned up, and hauled away the old tank.
Hot water heater service. The customer could not get the water heater lit after the water softener hose came loose and put the heater out. The customer had already cleared water out of the bottom of the heater, and it fired up instantly on the first try. The heater is only a couple of years old best option is to start by just lighting the heater and see if any issues arise in the future. I took a picture of an EPA notice from the city of Crest Hill, and the customer would like to know if we install any whole-house water filter systems that can help with what is listed by the EPA.
Sump pump service. Removed lid from sump pit to inspect pumps. Both are operating fine at this time. The backup pump was probably activated because the main pump could not keep up with the amount of water coming in.
Estimate for whole house water filtration system
Air conditioning tune-up and safety inspection. I cleaned and serviced the condensing system. Found the capacitor below the acceptable range, and the contactor was corroded. Replaced both parts. R22 system checked refrigerant levels. Levels are in an adequate efficiency range. Tested compressor and fan motor amperages. Everything is in accurate working condition at this time. Last visit to the VIP service plan. The customer will renew in the fall of 2025 furnace visit. Performed free plumbing inspections.
Water leak, AC repair. I found a broken drain pipe right at the AC coil on the attic air handler. I repaired the AC drain pipe.
Commercial water pipe leak. Installed 2 propress ball valves in 1/2” size to investigate further leaks in the piping system. Found a major water leak under the concrete floor. Propose to repipe the water line above to save money on digging up concrete for the boiler or possibly replace the old boiler with a forced air HVAC system.
Air conditioning tune-up and safety inspection. Cleaned and serviced the condensing system. Tested all mechanical components. Checked refrigerant levels. Everything is in an accurate efficiency range and acceptable condition. The customer just changed the furnace filter. Washed the system completely out with thick cotton. The system is now clean, cooling, and operating properly at this time. First visit on plan. She will have a fall/furnace visit in 2025, prepaid and remaining on plan. Performed a free plumbing inspection.
Air conditioning tune-up and safety inspection. Cleaned and serviced the condensing system. Tested all mechanical components. Checked R410 refrigerant levels. Everything is in an accurate efficiency range and condition. Washed the unit completely out. The furnace filter was just changed. The system is clean, cooling, and operating properly at this time. Last visit to the plan. The customer will renew in the fall/furnace visit of 2025. Performed free inspections.
Clean and check on condenser that is 3 yrs old pressure is holding and everything looks good. Hosed system off inside and out.
Air conditioning tune-up and safety inspection. Cleaned and serviced the outdoor condensing system. Tested all mechanical components. Checked R410 refrigerant. Replaced the furnace filter that the customer provided. Everything is in an accurate efficiency range and condition. Washed system completely out. The system is clean, cooling, and operating properly at this time. Renewed the annual VIP Service Plan. Performed free plumbing inspections.
Air conditioning tune-up and safety inspection. Cleaned and serviced the condensing system. R22 unit. Tested all mechanical components. Checked r 22 refrigerant levels. Refrigerant is in the accurate efficiency range. Found the capacitor below the acceptable range and replaced it using 35/5. Everything else is in adequate condition. Washed the system out completely. The system is clean, cooling, and operating properly at this time. Replaced the furnace filter that the customer provided. The customer will have one more visit planned for the fall/furnace season visit of 2025. Performed free plumbing inspections.
Air conditioning tune-up and safety inspection. Relevel AC pad. An unbalanced air conditioning unit is more likely to suffer breakdowns and require future repairs.
